Manchester students recently participated in the MAIS District Reading Fair at Pillow Academy.  Many of our students placed in the fair and will advance to the State Reading Fair on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Muse Center in Pearl MS.  The complete list of winners is shown below.  Congratulations MA readers on a job well done!!

The start times for the basketball games @ Benton on Tuesday, December 12th have been moved up.  

The Jr. High girls will play at 2:00 pm with the other games following.  Please note this time change!


 Manchester Academy Receives Exxon Mobil Grant


The local Exxon Mobil location awarded a $500 grant to Manchester Academy from the Exxon Mobil Educational Alliance Program.  This grant will benefit the Math and Science Departments at MA. 

According to a news release, the grant is sourced by Exxon Mobil’s Educational Alliance program to “focus on improvements in math and science from pre-school to higher education.”

The news release states, "We believe it is fundamentally important to encourage the next generation to pursue studies and careers involved in these fields."

Fleece lined rain jackets are new in the Maverick Merchandise store.  These jackets have hoods and are warm and waterproof - great warm jackets for the winter!  Youth sizes - $60 and Adult sizes - $65.  Get them before it gets cold because they will not last long!
