Bryan Dendy, Head of School

Bryan graduated from East Holmes Academy before graduating from Holmes Community College and Mississippi State University where he received his B.S. in Education. Bryan also has a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from American Intercontinental University and additional Graduate work from Delta State University. Bryan has over 20 years of experience as an educator, 16 of those have been spent at Manchester. Bryan is married to Stefanie Patterson Dendy, and they have two sons, Blayke, a 2018 graduate of MA, and Dylan, a 12th grader at Manchester. Bryan attends Parkview Church of God and his hobbies include lifting weights, golf and hunting.

Jana Bardwell, Secondary Principal

Jana graduated from Manchester Academy before receiving her B.A. in Elementary Education from Delta State University. Then, she advanced her career by receiving her Master's Degree in educational leadership from Delta State University. Jana has garnered over 28 years of experience as an educator. Jana is married to Andy Bardwell, and they have two sons: Hayes, a 2019 graduate of MA, and Tyler, a senior at MA. Jana is an active member of the First United Methodist Church. Her hobbies involve singing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Tracy Fouche, Elementary Principal 

Tracy graduated from Manchester Academy before receiving her B.A. in Elementary Education from Mississippi College. Tracy is married to John Fouche and they have three children: Ellen, 29, is a nurse in Wyoming, Ben, 26, and Will, 20, is a 2018 graduate of MA. In addition, she has two precious grandchildren, McCarty and Bruin.  Tracy attends Parkview Church of God, and her hobbies include running, playing tennis and gardening.

Elementary Principal

Lea Choate, Counselor

Mrs. Lea Choate serves as our school counselor.  She obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi and her master’s in English and Guidance Counseling from Delta State.  Her late husband was Kim Rodney Choate, Sr.  She has three children: Kim Rodney Choate, Jr., Kathleen Elizabeth Windham, and William Robert Choate.  She has 6 grandchildren.  She has been at MA for 9 years.  She previously taught at Leland, Shaw, Sharkey-Issaquena Academy, Lee Elementary, Northside, and Mississippi Delta Community College.  She enjoys traveling with friends, being with her children and grandchildren, playing bridge, and reading.
